New Orleans is a fun city full of flavors and sounds of all the cultures that has passed through its wide gaping mouth of the mighty Mississippi River. Their history is just as flavorful as their unique dishes.
Returning to a city where you've lived is always special. Lived here around the turn of the century. How much it has changed and how much it hasn't. I've learned so much about its history when I was here recently. History is an acquired taste, I guess. "Acquired" meaning getting old!

This slideshow is mostly from the island of Zanzibar, Tanzania. I've had the pleasure of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and decided to extend my stay bit longer in this gorgeous island. This island is inhabited mostly by Muslims, as you can tell by their very colorful head coverings. Pristine waters, friendly and curious locals makes you want to keep extending your stay.
John Muir Trail is 211 miles of untouched nature in the Sierras, California. Epic views of glacier peaks and crystal clear lakes was my daily companion. At heights around 8000 to 13,000 feet, the air is thin and dry but the hike is world class.
Buenos Aires is a hopping city in Argentina that is filled with interesting history, art, architecture and great food. On this video, I talk about my approach to street photography and explain what I look for when I walk the streets as a curious visitor.
